The Alila Marea Beach Resort Encinitas has beautifully designed interiors with fine ocean views. The lovely staff were attentive, assisting me with all my needs .

More seating options for poolside relaxation would help.

The male staff at the front desk could use some human resources training since a simple 'Good Morning' would go a long way. Try to request a room with a garden view for a nice, relaxing atmosphere.

The pool space felt a bit cramped during peak hours was good. The valet fees at $52 a day seemed quite steep considering the location. A few noise disturbances crept in from nearby roads, while my room exhibited some sound leaking that occasionally interrupted my peace. Lastly, the check-in process was a bit sluggish, pretty annoying after a long trip.

We had a relaxing staycation at alila marea beach resort. The staff were super nice and accommodating. They let us check in early, which we really appreciated. The resort is close to the bluff overlooking the ocean, and we enjoyed the upgraded room. Dinner at vaga was delicious, especially the chocolate bombe!

Breakfast at the coffee shop was good, and the staff extended a warm welcome. Our upgraded King Room with Garden View provided a peaceful retreat. Dinnertime at Vaga highlighted fantastic wine pairings with flavorful dishes, finishing with a complimentary Chocolate Bombe that stole the show.

The breakfast crepes were an absolute game-changer, setting the stage for our fabulous day biking up the 101. Plus, dinner at Vaga? Pure fire! The flavors in each dish had us singing, and don't even get me started on that complimentary Chocolate Bombe-so rich and decadent. Not to forget, we got an early check-in .

Perfect for Couples Looking to Relax

We had breakfast at the coffee shop downstairs, and wow, the staff were so nice and cute that we just had to book a night here! The room was upgraded, and I received some amazing graduation shots in my cap and gown around the fine hotel.

It wasn't cheap, but honestly, that was acceptable for what we got.

The property we stayed at had a great location since it was near the 101. the staff was friendly, and the food was fantastic as well. We really enjoyed the wedding we attended there as it was fun and exciting.

We did not appreciate the long wait during our check-in process. They said it would be at 4 pm, but we only got in at 4:30 pm, which made us feel on edge since we had to attend a wedding at 5:30 pm.

This hotel is in a great location, close to the beach and other attractions. the staff are welcoming and helpful, and the breakfast is delicious. the rooms are clean and well-designed, with comfortable beds and modern bathrooms. the facilities are good too, offering guests a range of things to do , such as cycling.

The check-in process can be a bit slow, which is frustrating if you have plans or are in a rush.

Had a great stay and was able to relax and unwind. The staff were accommodating and even allowed us to check in early, making our stay more comfortable. The property itself was beautiful and offered stunning views. We also enjoyed delicious meals at the hotel's restaurant and were pleasantly surprised by the complimentary dessert.

The check-in process was a bit frustrating as we weren't able to check-in until later than expected. This caused some undue stress as we were attending a wedding shortly after.

The hotel is fine, with a beautiful and airy design that instantly put me in a relaxed state. The staff was so friendly and accommodating, making me feel welcome. I even got to check in early, a pleasant surprise and allowed me to freshen up before attending a wedding later in the day. The food at the Vaga restaurant was delicious, and the wine recommendations were spot on. The highlight of my stay was the complimentary Chocolate Bombe dessert, it was very nice. I can't wait to return with my family in May to show them this hidden gem. I highly recommend this hotel.
